#DigiInventorsChallenge in association with Andy Murray

This video was produced by the Scottish Government Reform Division and was presented at the NHS Scotland Event 2019

It was part of the Shaping our Future Vision plenary session, which took place on Thursday 30 May, 1530-1630 in the SEC campus, by Shirley Rogers, NHS Scotland Chief People Officer and Director of Health Workforce, Leadership, Reform and EU Exit Preparations, Scottish Government.

The session looked at key issues for the current and future sustainability of health and social care services. It covered some of the main areas of work resulting from the Health and Social Care Delivery Plan, including: improving self-management of health and well-being; shifting the balance of care to support people to live longer, healthier lives at home; and making the best use of digital technology.

It is a case study showing how health and social care staff are taking this work forward in a range of different settings. Our focus was to empower Scotland’s young people to identify challenges that affect them on a daily basis and develop ideas for digital solutions that could help improve their health and care.
